Manthan – 8 Million Tonnes of Plastic is Dumped into the oceans every year

Water makes up to 71% of the Earth’s surface, the other 29% consists of continents and islands.  The oceans hold about 96.5 percent of Earth’s water. But, even such volume of water is affected by plastic waste. Plastic in the ocean threatens the natural habitat of the marine life, disrupting the entire bio-geo cycle.

‘Zinc in the Moon Buggy…’

Zinc was used in the wheels and the batteries of the Moon Buggy. The Lunar Roving Vehicle (LRV) or Lunar Rover was a Zinc-Silver battery-powered four-wheeled rover used on the Moon in the last three missions of the American Apollo Program (15, 16, and 17) during 1971 and 1972.
