Restoring the Statue of Liberty with ZINC
The Statue of Liberty is a sculpture on Liberty Island in New York City which symbolizes the United States of America to millions of people around the world. The 151 feet statue was a gift from France to the United States and was designed by French sculptor – Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi & built by Gustave Eiffel. It took over a decade to build (1875 to 1886) and over $250,000 which was a significant amount considering that it was the 19th century.
