Hindustan Zinc Plans Hiving Off Silver Portfolio into a New Unit

Billionaire Anil Agarwal’s Hindustan Zinc has proposed hiving off its highly profitable silver portfolio into a separate company, mirroring the shareholding pattern of the parent firm. The government owns 29.5 per cent of Hindustan Zinc (HZL) and will have to give its consent for this restructuring proposal to take effect.

Are Indian Cars RUST PROOF?

Can SAFETY be COMPROMISED

The safety of passengers in cars is generally measured by the presence of seat belts, airbags, crumble zone and shock absorbing capacity.  But it is important to note that more than 50% of the total weight of an average vehicle globally is of Steel.

And if this Steel is not galvanized – to prevent vehicles from corrosion and rust – this certainly would impact the safety of vehicles, safety of passengers, bring down the value of vehicles and increase life risk. Knowing this, should the steel used not be galvanized compulsorily is the question, and why not.

ZINC – helpful for Thyroid patients

Zinc may be helpful in patients with low T3 and may contribute to conversion of T4 to T3. In animal studies, Zinc deficiency lowered T3 and free T4 concentrations by approximately 30%. Levels of total T4 were not affected by Zinc deficiency.
