Meeting children of streets on the street is never easy. Their expectations are different, their daily routines are different and also the way they see life. The circumstances had changed them to such an extent that they dont want to change now.
Prayag is an 8 year boy of well to do family and studying in a convent school. Good in studies Prayag also likes doing painting. Every day he would sit for at least an hour for doing painting. Cartoons of famous TV serials, caricatures and human faces are of his interest.
I am currently working in Delhi and generally travel as I look after Business Development in a reputed company at a senior level. My timings are such that I get-up early, leave early and come back late. Thus I am detached to what is happening at the house front and my wife handles it all.
VEDANTA KHUSHI : Care for the Underprivileged Children
I work for an IT firm and into software development. I came to know about the “Khushi” initiative through a friend of mine in Mumbai who is also into software development. First and the foremost, I must congratulate the effort.
‘Raju’ is eight years old and his sister ‘Pari’ just about 4 years. Their parents have gone for the work and they are both left alone. Eight year is not an age to bear the responsibility for parenting a 4 year old but apparently Raju has no choice.
